Product Info
This 25cm Granton Edge Chef’s Knife has a Japanese high-carbon stamped steel blade with ergonomic Santoprene and Polypropylene handle. Suitable for at home or professional use, the scallops or dimples along the blade create air pockets between the food and the blade, which prevents ingredients from sticking as you slice — this is a huge help when you’re handling delicate ingredients or creating ultra-thin slivers. An excellent chopper, slicer and dicer.

Care Instructions
- We recommend hand washing your knives
- After each use, wash with warm water and mild- to medium-strength soap
- Rinse and thoroughly dry with a soft towel
- Don’t soak or submerge for long periods
- If chlorine or bleach products come in contact with the blade, thoroughly rinse off immediately — chlorine and bleach products discolour and pit high-carbon steel
- Avoid soaking for long periods in aluminium pans or a stainless steel sink
- Always store securely in a knife block or sheath to preserve the cutting edges and prevent personal injury
How to sharpen your knives with a counter top sharpener:
- Hold the sharpener on the table with your left hand
- Insert the knife blade into the slot
- Press down to bring the knife edge into firm, sustained contact with both of the two internal diamond-coated discs
- Slide the blade back and forth in a sawing-like motion
How to sharpen your knives with a sharpening steel:
- Hold the sharpener in a near vertical position, resting on a non-slippery surface
- Start with the heel of the knife against the one side of the steel
- Maintain light pressure while drawing the knife down the shaft of the steel
- Continue the motion drawing the knife all the way through to the tip
- Repeat the action with the blade against the steel on the other side
- Repeat these steps to complete the honing of the knife
